About Us
The Societas Daemonium is a small society dedicated to the study of the devil and the demonic in medieval contexts, regardless of discipline: art, history, literature, theatre, religion, archaeology, &c. Our primary purpose is for the arrangement of sessions related to devils, demons, and hell at the two major medieval conferences at Leeds and Kalamazoo.
